The Plantation Course at Kapalua is the only course on the PGA Tour schedule that plays as a par 73, and at 7,596 yards, it is amongst the longest courses on the PGA Tour schedule.
Its Greens are the largest on the PGA Tour schedule, and with its wide-open fairways we can expect a low scoring this week.
Kapalua features lots of undulations and is one of the hardest walks in golf. Other than that the Plantation course offers a gentle reintroduction to the PGA Tour.
Kapalua’s only real defence is the weather.

KEY STATS
SG APPROACH - Kapalua is a second-shot golf course. You are not going to win here if you can drive the ball 380 yards. You’re going to win here if you are an awesome iron player and an awesome putter.
SG PUTTING (BERMUDA) - This will be a birdie and eagle fest so you are not gonna get it done this week if you can’t putt. As usual, I will be weighing into my model putting between the 5-10ft range and will also take a look at the best Bermuda putters in the field.
OTHERS TO CONSIDER - Birdies or better, SG approach proximity 50-100 yards and SG approach proximity 200 plus yards.
Thanks for taking this course preview I will be back later in the week with weather updates my favourite DFS plays and Bets.
